The Alto Mayo forest is nationally protected land spanning across the departments of Amazonas and San Martin in Northern Peru. This coffee is cultivated by the Coopbam association of producers working on the westernmost portion of the forest in Amazonas. The microclimate found in this area of Alto Mayo is incredible for coffee growth. The characteristics of this small region lend themselves to an sweet, bright, and floral cup quality. Our partners at Red Fox Coffee sourced this lot from producer Carlos Alfredo Inga Valle. As it is in limited supply we could not be happier to showcase this complex and juicy coffee.
